In loving memory of my beloved friend Marie. God saw you getting weaker and did what he thought was best. He heard me calling on him as I heard you gasping for breath. God had mercy on us, looked down and called your name, he said, Marie, I know you are tired, come home, come to rest.
My heart will eternally be broken. My life will never be the same. God took you in his arms and ended your pain, but changed my life forever. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name, now all I have is your memories. Your memory is my keepsake with which I will never part, God has you in his keeping and I have you in my heart.

    Dear Neal and Family,
My deepest sympathy to each of you.
I am shocked to hear of the passing of Marie. We worked together for years in Blue Shield claims processing department and then later in the Contract Administration at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Marie had such a beautiful sense of humor and was a wonderful person. I enjoyed her note in the Christmas card.
    Sincerely,
    Peggy Huffman Walters

Neal & Family – I became friends with Marie at work over 30 years ago. I am so grateful that we reconnected over the last several months; we had fun rehashing the old days. I truly appreciated everthing about Marie, but her ability to make me laugh is what I will treasure the most. You couldn’t have selected a better photo of her.

    With Sympathy,

Mulligan family I am so sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. She was such a wonderful person, with a beautiful spirit. I will always be thankful to both Marie and Neal for being such good friends to my Grandparents, and especially my Grandmother. After the death of my grandfather their friendship was a great comfort to my grandmother. My heart goes out to you at this time and you will be in my prayers.

I too worked with Marie at BCBS and she is key to one of the funniest events I have ever witnessed. During a particularly stressful time, I was leaving the bathroom and from the hallway she saw me. Trying to cheer me up, she lifts her dress up and ’flashed’ me just a bit. At the same time, the elevator door opened and a man exited, turned right in the direction of Marie and was stopped in his tracks. Without missing a beat she said “This is how we welcome people to the 14th floor.” Priceless! We love ya girl. Thanks for everything.

Mulligan family, I worked with Marie at Acordia Financial. Like everyone else that has signed this guestbook, her ability to make you laugh even in tough times was such a gift. She talked of all of you every day. She loved her family so much and was so proud of all of her children. She was such a warm light and spirit to be around. She made going to work fun. I’m so sorry for your loss. God Bless all of you.
